“Chris, In the rush of getting off the plane and heading for our next one we didn't have the proper opportunity to thank you for making our Cuba trip the wonderful one it was. Happy and I have done a fair amount of traveling with many folks including National Geographic, but we have rarely had such a memorable event from start to finish and all you did created that. Your obvious enthusiasm for your subject rubbed off on us. The opportunities to interact with you (particularly at dinner on your night off) added so much. On reflection now that we are home the trip seems even better. We have already talked to so many friends who are interested in Cuba and have told them there is only one way to go National Geo and they must go when Chris Baker joins them. Honestly Chris you are one of the very best if not the best tour leader we have encountered over the years and we have had some great ones.” Happy and Jack Wallace Participants: “Cuba: Discover its Culture & People”
