I’m excited to be partnering with Emmy-award-winning producer Andres Pruna as I take over as principal host of LatinEyes TV, a nationally syndicated show that for the past decade has celebrated the best of Hispanic culture around the world. A new era is about to begin as the show will be refocused and baptized with a new name: Chris Baker’s Travelnculture. Stay tuned!
For more than a decade, the hip, innovative LatinEyes television show has targeted a multicultural TV audience with original, avant-garde, Latino-themed entertainment. Syndicated to more than 200 TV stations nationwide, LatinEyes has aired continuously, totaling more than 500 distinct shows featuring such acclaimed Hollywood Latino celebrities as Gael Garcia Bernal, Bianca Jagger, and Andy Garcia. The show is a 2006 Emmy Award winner (Best Cultural Show) and a repeat Emmy nominee, as well as being nominated for four Imagen Awards, the Latino entertainment community’s highest honor.
Our new show will broaden the horizons as we explore exciting North American and international destinations to unravel the marriage of cultures connecting North America with the rest of the world.
Travelnculture will take advantage of LatinEyes current reach of more than 80 million television viewers, while opening a whole new world of possibilities with its exploration of the edgy, exotic and esoteric.
Meanwhile, here are two unfinished previews of my first show as LatinEyes TV and I journey to Costa Rica
Part One: Chris Baker & LatinEyes in Costa Rica
Part two: Chris Baker & LatinEyes in Costa Rica Explore with me as I discover an exciting new hotel that doubles as artists’ retreat.

Christopher P. Baker, award-winning travel writer and photographer, currently lives in Palm Springs. When not on a travel assignment to some far corner of the world for National Geographic and other major publishers, he enjoys exploring his own backyard.
Fitting, then, that Countryman Press contracted with him to produce Palm Springs & Desert Resorts: A Complete Guide in its ‘Great Destinations’ series.” This 285-page guidebook to the Coachella Valley and surrounding attractions leaves no stone unturned.
Now Baker has teamed with BeHereTV to produce an online TV series... Chris Baker's Palm Springs
